Future Directions for the Programme

Since the inaugural Programme was implemented in South Australia, the following actions have occurred and are ongoing in South Australia:

Funding was secured from the Department of Health, through the Office of the Chief Nurse, for the ongoing implementation of the Programme in the State
Practice issues continue to be identified and actions implemented to enhance, improve or change health care practice
Evaluation is ongoing based on action research methodology
Benefits are disseminated via invited presentations, conference presentations, newsletters and Website
Strategic networking with key stakeholders and actions implemented as required is ongoing

Administrative Officer

The infrastructure to support the Clinical Leadership Programme in Australia™ relies on a small and committed team of people, who strive to ensure the experience for all participants is positive and productive. Nadine Gurney is the Administrative Officer for the Programme. Her expertise in all things administrative, her dedication to the ideals of the Programme and her wry humour enhance all aspects of the operational management of the Programme.
