Future Directions for the Programme
Since the inaugural Programme was implemented in South Australia, the following actions have occurred and are ongoing in South Australia:

  • Funding was secured from the Department of Health, through the Office of the Chief Nurse, for the ongoing implementation of the Programme in the State
  • Practice issues continue to be identified and actions implemented to enhance, improve or change health care practice
  • Evaluation is ongoing based on action research methodology
  • Benefits are disseminated via invited presentations, conference presentations, newsletters and Website
  • Strategic networking with key stakeholders and actions implemented as required is ongoing

The infrastructure to support the Clinical Leadership Programme in Australia™ relies on a small and committed team of people, who strive to ensure the experience for all participants is positive and productive.
