Clinical Leadership Programme in Australia™ presents
The Clinical Leadership Programme in Australia ™ was invited to participate in a one day seminar on Clinical Leadership & Clinical Practice Improvement organised by the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing & the University of Adelaide in February 2007. This wonderful opportunity enabled a number of Local Facilitators and Clinical Leaders to share their experiences of improving clinical practice with their local and international peers and colleagues. The presentations were informative, dynamic, thought provoking and challenging. Presenters included:

  • Sue Maksimovic, Clinical Nurse Manager, Gawler Health Service, Clinical Leader 2003/04 and Local Facilitator 2006/07 who presented “C.L.P The impact on a rural health service: Clinical Leaders participation in the Programme and achievements in improved care delivery and patient outcomes”.
  • Rosie Player, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service, Royal Adelaide Hospital, CNAHS, Clinical Leader 2004/05 who presented on “Effecting Change with Creative Thinking: Outpatient Intravenous Antibiotic Utilization”
  • Caroline Stewart, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Surgical Specialties Outpatients, Royal Adelaide Hospital, CNAHS, Clinical Leader 2006/07 who presented “A Clinical Leader’s Story”.
